Korean BBQ in Hamburg

Dear readers,

I was pissed after not getting those tickets for The Weeknd in Cologne for my sister as her birthdaypresent. It was pretty hard for me to have another idea what I could present her. She is a MakeUp lover and a huge korean fan. So part one was the calligraphy card with the Illuminate palette by bh cosmetics, but that wasn't enough. So I planned a trip to Hamburg for a shopping trip and enjoying Korean BBQ afterwards.



It was very cold in Hamburg, so my sister decided to stay in the mall for a long time and visit the shops outside later. I bought nothing. Even it's sale I didn't find anything. The special part is I discover the "creative section" at Urban Outfitters. But the stuff are really expensive.



But the reason visiting Hamburg was not the shopping part but rather the korean bbq. It was my first time so I let my sister ordering everything for us. The restaurant HanMi is very simple and huge. It was full of people, luckily we already make reservations. We start with filled steamed and fried buns. It was really delicious but I can recommend to begin with starters if you're deciding for korean bbq.




The bbq contains of two tablegrills, six side dishes (Kim Chi salad, cucumber salad etc.) and marinated meat. You could vary the dishes on your very own, so it's possible to have marinated meat or pure meat or even vegetarian. My sister thought we had to try the korean stew and I was worried about the mass we were eating.




I was definitely full after that meal, but I really can recommend korean BBQ as a group activity. It was a lot oof fun and you're discovering new cultures with friends.
