calligraphy

Dear readers,

today it's the birthday of my little sister and the perfect time to try out my calligraphy skills by creating a selfmade card. Calligraphy is really difficult and requires calmed hands. But I can't draw without scribbles and presketch, so the first step I always make even though it's not usual in calligraphy, is to prepare doodles, which I can trace afterwards with the utensil I like to have it.



I choose to trace them with a black fineliner pen and define it with ink brush. It was really hard to work precisely with brushes, because I can't control the brush like I can control the pen.

But my sister liked it and that's what matters. The main present for her is a trip to Hamburg city and visiting a Korean BBQ Restaurant. Stay tuned to read more about it!
