I heard about this MakeUp brand before and how good it is, but I never thought how good it really is. Ever heard of MakeUp Revolution? They have a great selection of palettes and I have to test them. The most important aspect buying palettes for is that they have to be pigmented and I decided to try out two different palettes. And I tried to create two different looks only using these two palettes.



The first palette I want to present is the ultra rouge palette golden sugar. I don't use it only for rouge, it is also good as a contouring palette and hihglighter. And that's not enough, you can use the light shimmer shades as eye shadow. Added to this, I don't need to mention the price. The palette golden sugar only has one colour which is not shimmering. The rest is really light and golden with a lot of shimmer exactly how I like it. I don't like to use it as rouge really because rouge needs to be blushing my cheeks and giving it a healthy colour.





The ultra flawless matte palette is absolutely stunning. I use it as addition to my favourite eye shadow palette the Naked 2 by Urban Decay. As mentioned before the colours are really pigmented and they're matching perfectly to my skin and are highlighting my eyes.


            

My first look is natural. I like to let my face glow with a natural teint by highlighting my cheeks for higher cheek bones look. And as I am having a pancake face I like contour my face skinnier and oval. To make the natural look interesting I focus on my eyes. I really love the form of my eyes, so I highlight the inner corner and darken the outer corner, for more defined eyes. For the light inner corner I use a color of the golden sugar palette and for the dark tones I use the eye shadow palette.

The nightout look needs more definition and I focus on lips, dark eyes and contouring. For the lips I use the base of the eye shadow palette. A really good alternative when you are missing your lip pencil. Only need a primer oil on the brush. The same palette I use for the eyes and my contouring. Only the dark parts of course. For the final shimmer look I use the golden sugar palette.

I just can recommend to buy them. The price is invincible and the quality is unbelievable high. And the best part is that they're having multi functions.

for about 4-5 weeks ago I received a huge package from gofeminin with test samples for a new product by bebe. I often take the chance to test new products but usually they're sending small test samples, but this time I was overwhelmed. I received 2 samples of the new cleansing mask in original size and additional smaller test samples to share it with friends.



After a month now I finally have the chance to write a review about this new product. During the testing phase I saw the products advertisment on TV and I was excited about the fact that I have the chance to test it.

As the cleansing mask is in a tube, the application is very simple. It has the typical texture of cleansing mask with peeling particles. My first impression was honestly not very good. It is a one minute cleansing mask directly after the shower. So for me personally it's not really a mask at all. I am standing for cleansing peeling-off mask, because I think they're really working. Those one minute thing are often useless.



But after a month now I am really surprised and the cleansing mask by bebe becomes my routine after the shower now. As I mentioned before, the application is really easy. I apply the cleansing mask while I'm showering so I can wash it off directly. Sometimes I wait one minute sometimes I don't but it still has its effect. My skin is really smooth and soft right now. I never use face cream, because I'm one of the person who doesn't really needs cream. I already have really smooth skin, but sometimes for example in winter I need face cream for more moisture. But with the cleansing mask I don't even need a skin care base for my foundation. And in addition I shower at the evening, so I extend the function of the cleansing mask as makeup remover.

And at least I am delighted by the smell. It isn't too strong. It has the typical "bebe scent" with a note of citrus fruit. I can recommend to test it out, because as I mentioned. For me it's not really a mask, but it has its effect. I also share my test samples with friends and family and they all have different opinions on this cleansing mask. But more than a half thinks it makes the skin soft and smooth and that is the important part for us.

as you already know, one of my favourites MakeUp brands is smashbox. So, I thought to write an haul about my small collection of smashbox I already own and I always rebuy. I usually order smashbox products directly from their homepage, because of their offered price and promotions they always have.



Not only the prices are acceptable, even the quality is awesome. The liquid lipsticks I bought are available in so many colours, so that everybody could find matching colours to their skin tone. The duration of the "always on liquid lipstick" collection is amazing. And if you're using the primer oil as the base for your lips before using liquid lipsticks, the lips feel like heaven not as usual dry after using matte lipsticks. I know it seems like I'm exaggerating but it's really not. The primer oil and liquid lipsticks are products I use daily. The oil is the base before I put foundation on, because it makes my skin feel smooth and soft.




The next category is also one of my favourites. I could never live without mascara and after a long search of the perfect one I like to mix the perfection of X-Rated and Full Exposure by smashbox. It makes my lashes longer and more voluminous.

Other primers of smashbox and the contouring kit I own is also recommendable, but I don't use it as often as I thought. Honestly there are better contouring kits than the contouring palette by smashbox and the photo finish primer are really good. But I'm more the primer oil type, therefore I'm not using it.

every women has her own favourite brand of lipstick, favourite kind of lipstick and fvourite colour. In my case there are brands like MAC, nyx or theBalm, I can't decide between liquid lipsticks or original lipsticks or maybe creamy palettes and colours are most complicated to choose. I compare every shades of red and every shades of nudes, but I can't decide for one favourite. I prepared myself for a shooting and I got a liquid lipstick with the colour "driver's seat" by smashbox and oh my gosh! Fuck yeah! I love this lipstick and I really mean it.



The shade is between red and nude. And the texture is amazing! It's not to dry like nyx Lingerie series and not to wet like Hudabeauty's liquid lipstick. It feels like a second skin on my lips and after eating, drinking, kissing a whole night out, it was still on my lips. For real, I'm never delighted like this before and I definitely have to buy other shades. And there it is the disadvantage. It is about 30€ per 4ml lipstick, but hey it's worth it!

may begins and I already know it will be a stressful month for me. My final exams are beginning and I'm already in my studying phase. But I can still enjoy the lovely breeze of spring. Cherry blossoms are growing everywhere and the sun tries to fight against dark clouds.

I'm delighted though, because I know summer is coming soon and I discover the perfect fragrance for the passage between spring and summer. It is definitely my favourite perfume at the moment.



Bvlgari fragrances are popular for their charming and fresh smell. I got my Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline at ParfumGroup for a very good price. I already got one fragrance there before and I have to recommend them again. Their prices are invincible and their palette of fragrances contain the most popular perfumes.

But why am I so in love with Omnia Crytalline? Even it's not eau de parfum it lasts the whole day. The smell is very soft and feminine. My mum told me it has asian character with bamboo and lotus flower essence. But for me it's just flowery and fresh.



I at least put this fragrance on, on my pre-birthday dinner with a fluffy jacket in salmon with my favourite mini bag by Valentino. The best part was to choose the matching MakeUp to the perfume. Nude tones and a lot of highlighter. With this perfume I just can smile through life even in hard times as exam period.

if anyone asks me which beauty product I can't live without are definitely lipsticks. The problem is I'm a little bit unorganized and sometimes I can't find specific colour when I really want to use them.



I got this wonderful lipstick organizer by NurBesten. It is squared and clear made of plastic. The simple and transparent design makes it fit to every dressing table in every colour.



It can be use as nail storage or other squared MakeUp products as well, but for brushes it could be to small. Long brushes will fall out. But I use it for my lipsticks. I like to order them by colour and brands. Unfortunately, I have a lot of lipsticks, so I just store my very favourites to pick them easily and fast.

once a year I feel special getting all the attention I need on one day. Next week it will be my 24th birthday and yes. I feel pretty old right now. My younger me would definitely disappointed about my life and she would ask me where my big house, my sport car, my husband and my children are. I'm still studying and it feels like it will never end.



But I feel special though. Especially, when my sister is preparing everything. And mostly, I'm delighted by her birthday presents for me. Of course, like every year she gifted me MakeUp. She always knew what I want or like to have. Last year it was these shiny MAC highlighter and bronzer.



It was the perfect present I could get. I love shiny and glittery highlighter and the bonzer matches perfectly to my teint. It is also glittery, but not as much as the highlighter. The bronzer is also used as blush because the colour blends my skin so well, I don't even need to use blushes any more.



I really like the quality of MAC cosmetics. It lasts for hours and even days. My boyfriend is already bugged about the glitter all over my face and even on his face. Glitter and shiny everywhere. That's how I like my highlighter.

I discover my passion for lovely scents and I had to check out new fragrances. I will start this serie with the fragrance j'adore by Dior. I get mine at Parfumgroup. I already compare the prices with other shops and I was surprised about the differences. I can only recommend to buy high quality fragrances here to a really good price.



Although it's “eau de parfum” the scent is very light and not too strong. It is a floral scent and I love to wear it to a brunch with my girls. The perfect look has to be natural and it matches perfectly to this beautiful spring weather. Maybe a rosé mid-skirt matching to golden eye-shadow and sweet curls will give the matching look to this fragrance.

The bottle is very simple designed. The shape is round and feminine. Especially the golden detail of the neck-bottle got my attention. It reminds me of the african women who wears long golden necklaces as a symbol for beauty.



I am so delighted by this perfume, I just can recommend to try out j'adore by Dior.

I have to make some bugfixes on my blog and so I decided to prepare a relaunch of my relaunch. Don't worry I'm still preparing posts. Today I tried out the popular silicon pads I got from NurBesten nearly every blogger are trying out and I thought I have to have them.



My experience with the beauty blender wasn't really good at the beginning. My first beauty blender I got was by dm, a german drugstore. It is very soft, but it doesn't really apply my makeup very well. I used the trick by Kylie Jenner to water the beauty blender before and it really works much better.




The silicon pads works without water. And the huge advantage of silicon pads is like every blogger already said: it doesn't absorb you makeup, so you don't raste any makeup like the beauty blender. NurBesten sends me three sizes to cover any situations.




I'm still using my beauty blender, but the silicon pads are getting indispensable. Tomorrow it's the birthday of my boyfriend. I have to get back to my cake I'll bake for him. Don't miss the new design of my blog very soon.

I bought myself a whole collection of MakeUp brushes and I love them. But when I have to compare all my brushes I really have to say: Once you use high quality brushes, you'll never use something else. Even if the brushes are really good and cheap, I love the high quality brushes by Zoeva.



I got those pink brushes with a bag and I'm so in love with them. Even if there are only 5 brushes in it. The quality is uncomparable. Even on the web shop of Zoeva you could find brushes in vegan quality. The hair of the brushes are so naturally and soft.



The design is also an aspect why I always want to buy more of them. Sure, they are expensive regarding to quantity, but it it really worth it.

since the GLOW – BeautyConvention I know about the MakeUp brand bh cosmetics. They seem very cheap for a high quality brand, but unluckily, we didn't have any chance to try out the products at the BeautyCon because of the long queue. Carli Bybel and Ashley Tisdale were the latest celebrities collaborating with bh cosmetics and I thought I have to try out some products.



A disadvantage of the shop is nearly everything interesting like brushes or liquid lipsticks were sold out. So I just order some palettes and payed only 41€ for everything.



The colors of this nude palettes are so adorable I have to buy them. Of course the consistence of them are not good as my favourite Naked palette by Urban Decay, but after a while and some little tricks I have to say the palette is really beautiful and some colours could be used as blush or highlighter as well.




The Illuminate palettes contains highlighter, eyeshadow and blush. I bought it as a birthday gift, so I couldn't try it out. But the highlighter palette is my absolute favourite of my order. Even if it didn't last too long on your skin the colours are perfectly for every skin type. And the rest of it you can use as eyeshadow. I make it last long with fixing sprays or with help of applying vaseline first.



And at least they sometimes send you little presents like this eyeshadow palette. I won't use it, so it makes a perfect present for birthdays or Christmas. For the price, the products of bh cosmetics are really recommendable although I prefer to try out the liquid lipsticks and the brushes collection of them.

one of my best friend is always knowing what I need or what I want. She knows that I'm a passionate matte lipstick lover. And since she knows I'm a little bit disappointed of the nyx liquid lipstick collection, she bought me a matte liquid lipstick collection by theBalm.



I already own the famous theBalm nude palette, but I never heard of liquid lipsticks of the before. The collection includes all the red tones I actually wear and they'rr so handy you could take them everywhere in every kind of bags.



From left to right I sort them from dark to light.

1. The first colour "Loyal" is perfectly for go clubbing. The dark red is on point and comparable with colour of red whine.
2. The colour "Dedicated" is a mix of classic red and dark pink
3. "Charming" is comparible as a mix of nude and a dark pink tone. I wear them on dates with my boyfriend.
4. "Sincere" is the light version of "Charming". The perfect tone for daily MakeUp.
5. Nude tones are my favourite for office, school and lunch with my girls. "Committed" is therefore absolutely recommendable.
6. Last but not least, "Doting" is a very light colour for me. I actually never wear it before.

These are filled with 1,2ml colour, so you actually can buy them in larger size (7,4ml). But I like this size as mentioned before, because they're handy and it is more fun to test more colours. The consistence is awesome and it doesn't even dry out your lips. But maybe that's the point because after eating the liquid lipstick is gone and I have to reapply them.

what do you got for Christmas? I got a lot of MakeUp products, but I didn't even try them out, so it's time to test them. The first products I tried out are the contouring palettes and the eye shadow palette I got from NurBesten. If you forget which ones I mean just read my Review 2.0 about those products. These products are perfect to create a natural winterlook.



So, the first problem I have to face are my asian eyes. I'm not very good in eye shadowing, so I needed a tutorial first, but most of them have european eyes. And the asian eyes are mostly too small. I have round and big almond eyes. The easiest way is shadowing the eye wings with a dark colour and spread a light colour on the lid. Some glitter and a mid colour to blend it all.

Contouring is much easier with my face. I have round shaped face and the aim of contouring my face is getting a smaller face. In addition, I put on a tea rose coloured matte lipstick by nyx et voilà my winterlook is perfect. It looks nearly natural and my skin is not irritated by too much MakeUp on my face.

my dressing table is sometimes a real mess. The last time I found a lot of products I don't even use. The timing is perfect to tidy up my dressing table before Christmas then. Mostly I use the new and unused products as Christmas gifts for my female friends instead of letting them unused in boxes for many years.



I sorted every nyx product I have out and I never thought I have so much of them. Let's start with the first category: MakeUp Basics for Faces



Whether contouring kits, finishing powder or concealer, I have them all. But I noticed that I don't use foundations by nxy. Of this collection I can recommend you the finishing matte spray, when you finished with your MakeUp. But the pore filler has no effect on my face.



The next category is about eye MakeUp. It's just a small collection because I'm not really impressed of eye MakeUp by nyx. I am waiting for the double stacked mascara, but it's not available in Germany yet.



My last collection is my favourite collection. I love the colours of nyx lips products. I love the matte lipsticks. They're really cheap and the quality is not even bad at all. The colours of the soft matte lip cream are my favourites, but unluckily, they're not lasting very long on your lips. The lingerie collection dried out my lips too fast. But I buy them anyway, because they're long-lasting.



And the last thing I found was this MakeUp bag. I think it was a present I just didn't need. But now actually I use them every day. The bag is big like the biggest clutch I have and a lot of stuff fits in it. Very practical for me, because I have to commute a lot.

the last days of November has begun and I experienced the pre-stage of stress of december madness. December is one of the most stressful month of the year. The last projects has to be done and published and beside work everyone gets crazy thinking of buying christmas presents.

The eye-shadow is nearly as good as the Naked pallet by Urban Decay. And the colour are basics so really everyone can wear it. The most lightest colour can even use as highlighter. I really like the texture of this eye-shadow. It is not too powdery so it won't destroy your face foundation., but it last for so long. what are the most important tools every artist need? That's right! Brushes! Whether painting artist or MakeUp artist, both species need their brushes to refine their masterpieces. The caring of brushes is therefore really important for artists to keep the quality high. And you even can't get enough of them. There were so many different forms and styles of them, you gotta have them all.



I like to make them in scene. To present them in a lovely way on my MakeUp desk and I think every girl loves to see their cups full of brushes. This collection I got from NurBesten (read the review here) is in travel size. I like the golden part of the brushes and the soft head, which I like to use for details parts on my face.

I just can emphasize to wash you brushes! It's more hygienic for your face and it would even keep the high quality of your brushes.

before I went on my trip with my boyfriend I received a package by Max Factor. I was one of the 700 tester for their new product the Epic False Lash Mascara. My first impression of this mascara is the packaging. It was simple in gold on the outside but with a very special brush on the inside. The form of the brush was unusual for a mascara brush, but it said with its special form the brush is able to seperate the lashes clearly and makes it looks much longer like the false lashes effect.



I am surprised. Definitely. It really works. The texture is soft and not too massive what means you only need on layer to get the effect. It makes your lashes for about 2 cm longer and my absolute favourite; it makes it super curvy without an eyelash curler.



And the unique brush is definitely recommendable. It seperates my lashes perfectly and give my lashes extra length. It is super easy to handle, I didn't have any problem to apply with this special brush. I have to say I never use the brand Max Factor so much before. It's obviously affordable. I definitely have a crush on this mascara and it's absolutely one I would buy again. And yes. I can't find a negative point.

thanks to gofeminin.de, I got two Pink Tickets for the GLOW BeautyCon in my hometown, Hannover. It was the first time for me visiting a Beauty Convention and I got I high expectations accordingly.


The first thing we saw as we arrived was masses of queues. The hall seemed very small and there were less exhibition stands than expected. The next conspicuous aspect was that every third girl was wearing an artist ribbon even when they not even looked like professional blogger, vlogger or else. My friend and I weren't really interested in the Meet and Greet section, because the acts were mostly YouTube-Stars and C-Celebrities. Actually we weren't the target audience for those Meet and Greet acts.




I expected a lot of free samples and new products to try on, but even this part of the convention was a little bit disappointing. Of course, we only got the restricted Pink Tickets, but you still have expectations. Some stands were organized really badly and some stands were just offering a makeover. I was actually excited about the exhibition stand of NYX, but even there they were just offering makeovers and a photobooth, where you also have to queue up.


           


Let's get to the best part of this Convention. The best exhibiton stand was from Flaconi. Flaconi is a retail store for beauty products every brand like Sephora or Douglas. Their stand included makeover stations, new products section and little store. We also had to queue up here, but they got the idea to hand out gifts, free samples and coupons. The section of DM was build up very similar and therefore good as well. We also visited the "Fun Section" with the Chupabulli of the brand Chupa Chups, where we got a goodie bag and some sweets.

           

I think I expected too much and therefore I think I was pretty lucky to win those tickets. I think it wasn't really worth it for me, if I'd buy those tickets. They had to organize it better, maybe a bigger hall with more brands and acts. In fact, it was pretty worth it for me and my friend. Even if we didn't get those Goodie Bags, we had a get a lot of things and a lot of discounts on high end products.
